Backward crossovers with puck on the backhand transitions into a tight turn to forward crossovers with puck on the forehand. Or backward crossovers with the right leg into forward crossovers with the left. I like slipping the puck off the backhand side to the backhand side of my body ahead of the turn so I can catch it half way through the turn. This as well as crossing my hands over allows me to turn as tight possible. Yes, I know, it ties your hands up to be able to make a pass or shot immediately after the turn. If you know you’ll need to pass quickly after the transition don’t cross your hands over and instead place your top hand off the body and beside your hip when turning.
