Button Autopsy - Victorian's Secret / Examining an antique silk covered button / button geek!

Today's video is the first of an occasional series examining some of the textile, thread, and other buttons in my collection. The Button Autopsy is my way of learning how buttons were made in the past.
This little silk fabric covered button holds a secret that I've never seen before, but was probably in use far more than we think. It just isn't obvious until you take things apart...
